TeenTech Munich e.V. Hosts Its First ever AI workshop, Competition and Event
A Landmark Milestone in Youth Technology Education
Students from Munich (Multiple Gymnasiums, St. George’s International School, TUM Munich and ETH Zurich)
competed in Munich’s Youth AI Innovator event.
MUNICH, GERMANY March 28, 2026 : TeenTech Munich e.V. in collaboration with VHS Taufkirchen,
proudly hosted what has become a milestone, the first ever edition of its AI Innovation Summit. The event
brought together young minds from across Munich and beyond, including participants from ETH Zurich
marking the event’s transition into a truly international showcase of youth innovation.
Held as a half day program, the event featured expert Tech Talks, three competitive categories (AI Case
Study, AI Pitch Competition, and Ethical AI Debate) and a structured AI/ML course overview from Teentech
Munich Team. Students demonstrated real-world AI projects spanning Credit Card Fraud detection, Munich
Rent price prediction, Football Player transfer analytics, Computer vision and AI Pitch earning recognition and
industry internship opportunities.
The event was a resounding success, drawing applause from judges, industry partners, and proud parents
alike. TeenTech Munich e.V. reaffirmed its commitment to bridging classroom learning with industry grade
experience, inspiring the next generation to lead in AI and Machine Learning.

The event was judged by following Industry leaders
• Mr. Pankaj Gupta: Founder & Managing Director at DRIMCO GmbH. He is also Product and Chief AI
Scientist at DRIMCO GmbH Munich. He is a leading expert in Natural Language Processing and
Machine Learning with 15+ years of hands-on experience.
• Mr. Mattia Fedrigo: He is industry veteran in field of Information Processing and Mathematician by
heart. Currently he is doing research and problem solving in data analytics, machine learning, text and
process mining.
• Mr. Biju Krishnan: specialise in helping organisations shape and execute effective AI strategies. He is
also author of "Data Architecture for Data Scientists" on Udemy which has been taken by more than
5000 Students globally.
Expert Tech Talks
Three thought provoking talks set the stage for innovation:
• Mr. Pankaj Gupta — “The Future of AI”: A forward-looking perspective on where artificial intelligence is
headed and its societal impact.
• Mr. Mattia Fedrigo — “Concept Talk”: Exploring the conceptual foundations of modern AI applications.
• Mr. Biju Krishnan — “Teachable Machines from Google”: A practical exploration of Google’s
accessible AI tools for young innovators.
AI/ML Course Overview
Course Instructor Atul Pandey presented a comprehensive overview of the AI/ML curriculum taught to the
participants. All concepts were delivered in an accessible format tailored for teenage learners. Topics included:
- Linear Regression - Logistic Regression - Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) - Deep Neural Networks
(DNN). The learning was conducted through hands on work through python and google colab.

Four teams presented real world AI projects, demonstrating practical applications of artificial intelligence:

2) AI Pitch Competition
Nine young innovators delivered compelling 3-minute AI pitches on original concepts, showcasing creativity
and technical vision:

Samarth : AI Based Teacher in Pocket.
Ranvijay : AI Based Research Paper Bias Evaluation.
Vedant : Quant Trading based AI which uses Real Time Data to Optimize global supply chain.
The session also featured a demo of the Bunee Video AI Agent, demonstrating cutting-edge AI capabilities
from Tanish (TUM).

3) Ethical AI Debate
Six students engaged in structured debates on the ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence:
